Far East Plaza has been the place people go for nails in Orchard for a long time. It is also a building that does not make itself easy to navigate. The lifts do not all serve the same floors, the unit numbers do not run in an obvious order, and the mall directory is not always current.
If you are heading up to see us, this is the short version.

We are on Level 5. Take Lift 4 or Lift 5. This is the part that catches people out, because not every lift in the building goes to Level 5, and taking the wrong one means coming back down and starting again.

Getting to the building
Far East Plaza sits on Scotts Road, a short walk from Orchard MRT. Coming out of the station, you are heading away from Orchard Road itself and up towards Newton. It is close enough that most people walk it in under ten minutes, and the building is next to the Royal Plaza on Scotts.

Why Level 5 is different
The lower floors of Far East Plaza are mostly fashion, food and alterations. The upper floors are where most of the beauty and nail businesses sit, and they tend to be small independent units rather than chains.
That has a practical consequence worth knowing about. Units up here are small, so most of them work by appointment or by taking whoever walks in when there is a free seat. If you are coming at a busy time, a message ahead is the difference between sitting down straight away and waiting.
What to do before you come up
A few things make the appointment go faster.
- Know roughly what you want. Not the exact shade, just whether you are after colour, length or repair. Our guide to the different systems covers the difference in plain terms.
- Bring a photo if you have one. Screenshots are genuinely useful. You can also browse the designs gallery and point at something.
- Tell us if you are wearing an existing set. Removal takes time and is priced separately, soft gel at $15 and hard gel at $25, so it changes how long to allow.
- Check the price list first. Everything is published on the services page, and every line can be tapped to message us about it directly.
Walking in versus messaging first
You are welcome to come up and see if there is a seat free. But Far East Plaza gets busy at predictable times, weekend afternoons especially, and a small unit fills up quickly.

Once you are here
The shade wall is next to the design boards, so you can compare a colour against a design in the same light rather than guessing from a photo. If you are undecided when you arrive, that is completely normal and it is usually quicker to sort out in the room than over text.
